Swift Abrasives collapses into administration leaving many bonded abrasive customers without supply.

The UK manufacturers of bonded abrasive segments, resinous grinding wheels and vitrified bonded abrasive wheels based in Chesterfield, UK has collapsed in administration on the 5th of March 2026 leaving both customers and employees in the lurch and seeking alternatives to current supply chains… Recent news has come to light today that Swift Abrasives (AKA Swift and Whitmore Ltd part of Jowitt Abrasives Group) have entered administration whereby many customers who buy abrasives from this manufacturing company will not be receiving their goods.
