News that Axminster Tool Centre Ltd entered administration on October 21, 2025 has broken recently where Grant Thornton appointed as joint administrators. The retail operations were immediately acquired by Newhow Limited, a company led by the existing management team, to ensure business continuity, honoring gift cards, and maintaining warranties. The retail operations has closed but over 100 jobs have been maintained by the new owner @Newhow Ltd.
